Bantengan (Leang Leong) is one of the famous folk art in the region of Gondanglegi. Art combines three Chinese Dragon culture i.e. in giant and Java on a bull and other animals (Tiger and monkey)). Performing Arts presents the mystical atmosphere  that is strong and many who have possessed soul (trance).

The sixth day, July 7, 2012
We do accompaniment for a special event conducted by the village. This event is done to welcome Ramadan and seek blessings for prosperity always smoothly. There are various performances and the Arts in the Carnival, ranging from traditional dance, drum bands and transvestites contest.

The Fifth day is the day of religion, because we conducted research with a focus on religious activities in addition to conducting interviews and intensive observation.

Third day, July 4, 2012

The third day the real process of adaptation is still in progress, obstacles we face is usually associated with lodging place that much research. The use of a motorcycle is very useful as a means of mobility for research. That day we did a negoisasi and asked permission to the village Office (Gondanglegi Wetan- Southern Malang)

Second Day. July 3, 2012

The Group started in breaks into two, I got the task to accompany the group to be moved and the evacuation was carried out during the day by getting into a car. laskar motor used for the evacuation of people who are left behind. Although briefly lost but we found a location in the village of Banjarejo.

First Day, July 2, 2012  
D-day. The first day and the first for us College field, Department of Anthropology, Brawijaya  University was done for 2 weeks. On the first day,  we set out from the campus in a truck and some use motor we left town. The process of adaptation and orientation of the field is the first thing we do. From Malang to Ganjaran village.
